| The newcomer in the Premier League, Sunderland is having a great season, so far. The team is in 6th place in the league. At the Stadium of Light recently the fans saw a 1-0 win over all time famous rival Newcastle. After that the Black Cats travel to Brighton for a 0-0 draw which once again is not a bad result. In the recent weeks after the not so nice start of the season Leeds is in a very similiar form as their hosts. Victories over Chelsea and Crystal Palace with two draws vs Liverpool and Brentford in the last five put the team on the map for survival again and now the team is 6 points above the 18th West Ham. The man to watch in the guests squad is Dominic Calvert-Lewin who is the club’s top scorer in the league with seven goals from 15 games. Last head to head games are with almost no advantage for any club. Having in mind that Sunderland are one of two teams in the Premier League that hold an unbeaten record on home soil this season we should consider that possibly right now Leeds are not one of the teams to stop this series of the hosts. |
